The everyday adventures and misadventures of our four rescue dogs: Skye, a Siberian Husky, Bosco, a Pitbull/Lab, Poco, a Jack Russell/Hound, and Bandit, some kind of Min-Pinscher.
Our beautiful Siberian Husky was always afraid of thunderstorms. Whenever thunder rumbled and lightning flashed, Skye deposited “thundersausages” onto our bedroom floor. We were eventually able to help her cope with anxiety, but now you know the straight poop behind the comic strip name.
I’ve been drawing, sketching, and doodling forever and although I’ve always wanted to make a living as an artist, most of my career has been in marketing. I discovered the joys of digital drawing using a tablet and stylus fairly recently and decided to develop cartoons based on our four rescue dogs.
Like most dog owners, my wife and I find them endlessly amusing and have conversations with them all the time. They get most of the credit for my daily inspiration and I constantly aspire to be the person they think I am.
